‘The game is over,’ Maryam tells Imran

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) senior vice-president Maryam Nawaz told Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Friday that the “game is over” after the expulsion of senior members of her party. .
He expressed these views while addressing the youth convention of PML-N in Wahari. During his address, he spoke about the events of May 9 — the day the PTI chief was arrested, which sparked violent protests across the country.
Taking a dig at the PTI for the mass exodus of leaders, Maryam said those leaving the party have questions.
The exodus of PTI leaders began when security forces launched a crackdown on the party following attacks on civil and military institutions, including the general headquarters in Rawalpindi and the Lahore Corps Commander’s House (Jinah House).
Following the May 9 tragedy, more than 70 lawyers and leaders of the party have parted ways with the PTI.
