Terror case registered against PTI workers for vandalism at judicial complex

A case of terrorism has been registered at the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police station against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) activists for vandalizing the judicial complex of the capital on Sunday. Imran Khan’s Court appearance in Tosha Khana case
A case was registered against the arrested accused under various provisions of 10 crimes including terrorism. PTI Workers and party leaders.
The First Information Report (FIR) includes the names of around 17 leaders including Ali Amin Gandapur, Murad Saeed, Amir Mehmood Kayani, Asad Qaiser, Shibli Faraz, Asad Umar, Umar Ayub Khan, Ali Nawaz Awan, Hasan Niazi.
The FIR states that the activists damaged the police check post and the main gate of the judicial complex.
The FIR said that 18 people were arrested for arson, stone pelting and breaking the building of the judicial complex.
“About two police vehicles and seven motorcycles were burnt, and the official vehicle of the Station House Officer (SHO) was damaged,” he added.
A pistol, Rs 20,000 and anti-riot kits of around eight policemen were also stolen, the FIR said, adding that the police arrested 20 people for vandalism and burning government vehicles.
Meanwhile, around 19 people were detained for allegedly throwing stones, violence and throwing Molotov cocktails at the police.
Imran Khan came from the opposite side of the road in violation of Article 144 with a crowd of people – with wooden sticks and stones in their hands.

As a result of the situation, 52 police and other auxiliary forces personnel were injured, PTI activists also damaged 12 Islamabad police vehicles, police said.
Meanwhile, the agitated workers also damaged three vehicles of Punjab Police and Frontier Corps (FC).
Moreover, the workers also set fire to four Federal Police vehicles which were completely burnt.
The Inspector General (IG) of Islamabad issued orders to seek an estimate of the damage.
