Imran Khan announces Minar-e-Pakistan power show yet again

The former prime minister returned to Lahore from Islamabad after Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal canceled his non-bailable arrest warrant in the Tosha Khana case.
He has been embroiled in a number of court cases since he was ousted in a no-confidence motion last year and pressured the coalition government that replaced him to hold early elections.
Recalling the events that transpired since the announcement to start campaigning from March 8, he said: “I had decided to take out the rally on March 8 after taking permission from the police on March 7. The day they started installing containers and imposed Section 144.
He questioned how the authorities could impose Section 144 – double riding and ban on assembly of five or more people – after announcing the election date.
He claimed that despite all the drama, he decided to cancel his rally because he was afraid of chaos, but he [coalition government] They want to put me in jail in Balochistan, so I am unable to campaign for the upcoming elections.
“They intend to arrest me so that I am unable to issue tickets to my party leaders,” he said, accusing the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) of conspiring against him.
