Netflix to debut Boston Marathon bombing documentaries
Netflix is set to release a three-part documentary about the bombing that disrupted the 2013 Boston Marathon.
In the title of American Manhunt: The Boston Marathon Bombing., the series features hours of security camera footage, interviews with police, citizens as well as first responders, according to Deadline. The release will air on April 12, 2023.
Speaking about the project producer Tyler Russell said:
“The Boston Marathon bombing is a famous and tragic event in American history that struck a chord with our deepest fears and inspiring acts of profound courage and bravery, and this series is an attempt to memorialize what happened and why so that we can learn from it.” can learn a lesson. Ten years after society, it first shocked and shocked the world.”
“It’s been 10 years, but to this day, most people don’t know what actually happened that week, and most importantly, why. Why would someone do such a horrible thing? Survivors, law enforcement. The 2013 Boston Marathon was held on April 15 of that year. The event was marred by a terrorist attack involving two consecutive explosions on the sidewalk near the finish line, killing three spectators and injuring 264 others. After that the competition was stopped.
