California man shot after calling cops ‘pigs’, charging them with steel bar
Oh A California man was shot. and killed police officers on Sunday after calling them “pigs” and running at them with a steel bar.
Bodycam footage allegedly shows 60-year-old Adam Barcenas charging toward officers with a five-foot steel bar at 6 a.m. Sunday in Oxnard, California.
Oxnard police officers were investigating a DUI when Barcenas — who was not involved — confronted them.
In the video, Barcenas can be heard calling the officers “pigs” and saying “I hate you.”

Officers told Barcenas to stand down, but he advanced toward an officer who then fired four shots.
“Barcenas ignored the officers’ commands and continued to advance toward the officers in an aggressive and threatening manner.” Oxnard Police Department said in a press release.
Three bullets hit Barcenas. Another officer fired his Taser, which did not penetrate Barcina’s skin.
