Texas hit with severe weather, tornado warnings
Severe weather wreaked havoc. Through North Texas Thursday when residents faced severe thunderstorms that triggered a tornado warning, rain and hail in the region.
Winds up to 70 mph and large hail are possible, the National Weather Service said. As a storm warning was issued. As of 8 p.m. Thursday, the watch stretched from just north of Waco to Oklahoma and west from Cisco to Paris, Texas.

Footage from downtown Dallas and Fort Worth showed dark skies as the storm system approached Metropolis Areas.
Along with Texas, the central Gulf Coast and southeastern Plains will be hit by severe weather this week with large hail, damaging winds, tornado warnings and Flooding rain.
