SAPM Jawad Sohrab Malik calls on UAE ambassador
Islamabad: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) Jawad Sohrab Malik UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al Zabi received them warmly at his office in the capital.
Both sides expressed the sentiments of deep friendly relations between Pakistan and the UAE and particularly emphasized the need to further promote business and investment opportunities.
Issues related to new operations of airlines in Pakistan and facilitating their smooth operations were also discussed during the meeting.
Country Acknowledging the UAE government’s substantial investment in Pakistan, which has helped build the country’s vibrant economy. He reiterated that among the seven GCC countries, the UAE is the largest investor in Pakistan, where many important Emirati companies continue to invest here.
The UAE envoy appreciated Pakistan’s contribution to the development of important institutions in the UAE, such as the armed forces, police, health and education, and has responded in a friendly manner for Pakistan’s full cooperation in all areas of economic development.
