In a scathing press conference in Lahore, the PML-N leader slammed the former prime minister for creating a “scene” at his Zaman Park residence, saying Khan had declared a “rebellion against state institutions”.

On Tuesday, clashes broke out between PTI activists and the police for nearly 24 hours as Zaman Park became a virtual battleground, with law enforcement agencies trying to wade through supporters and arrest Khan, who He was voted as Prime Minister in the National Assembly last April.

Several people, including policemen and PTI workers, were injured in the process as law enforcement agencies fired tear gas and party supporters resorted to throwing Molotov cocktails.
