Fillers are substances that are placed under the skin to plump it up. They fill in wrinkles, smooth fine lines, and restore volume to the face. Courtney said she regrets getting fillers because she didn’t realize “that it was a domino effect” for a long time.
“You don’t realize you look a little bit, so you keep doing more because you think you’re normal,” she said. “You look in the mirror and you go ‘Oh! That looks good’…and you don’t realize what it looks like to an outsider.”
She then said she regretted getting too many fillers and having them removed. Courtney said the main feeling that initially pushed her to fillers was “thinking I was getting old, when I was really young.” He said the whole process was a bummer and a waste of time. “I messed up a lot,” he admitted.
However, Courtney is genuinely grateful that the process is reversible. Luckily, she was able to reverse almost all of the fillers and get back to looking like herself, she said.
People in the comments section praised her honesty, and the impact her statement had on others when considering the process. “Honesty here! I wish everyone was this honest,” said one. Another praised the show’s host, saying, “Big reach @kirbiejohnson here, it’s going to be a positive wave for so many women. And this raw real response came from solid journalism. Your part. The guest is real. It should feel comfortable to be.”
