Sonya, Mohsin Abbas ‘Daadal’ to release on Eidul Fitr 2023 | The Express Tribune

The list of released movies is now part of the local Eid experience. Festive days aren’t complete without an entertainer on the big screens and as it’s time for Eid al-Fitr, we already know what awaits us. The first look of Sonia Hussain and Mohsin Ali Abbas starrer Dadal is now out and the release date has also been announced.

Writer-director Abu Aliha took to Instagram on Thursday night to share the first glimpse of his upcoming crime thriller. Holding his hands as he punches, the picture shows a fierce Hussain wearing boxing gloves with his hair tied up in boxing braids. “I am not a mere resistance to fear, I am the courage that life has never imagined, I am Haya Baloch,” read the caption, which will reveal Hussain’s character.

Calling it a “gangster crime thriller”, Aliha added that the film will release in theaters worldwide on Eid-ul-Fitr 2023. Produced by Neha Lodge and Asif Malik, this new style film will also star Rizwan Ali Jaffrey, Myra Khan, Adnan Shah Tipu. and Shimoun Abbasi in the lead role.

Another much-awaited Eid release will be Faisal Qureshi’s directorial debut Money Back Guarantee (MGB), which will see Fawad Khan once again on the big screen after The Legend of Moolah Jat. The star-studded film also stars Wasim Akram, and marks the debut of Shanira Akram. Television protagonists Mikal Zulfikar, Ayesha Umar, Javed Sheikh, John Rambo, Gauhar Rasheed, Hina Dilzeer, Mani, Ali Safina, Adnan Jaffer and model-turned-actor Karan Malik among others will also be playing important roles in the upcoming film.
