Sohail Ahmed to star in Diljit Dosanjh’s upcoming film | The Express Tribune
Indian Punjabi movie latest trailer release Babe bhangre pounde ni A wave of hope has spread among the fans. Veteran Pakistani actor Sohail Ahmed is all set to share the screen with Indian star Diljit Dosanjh. According to the press release, Ahmed has played the lead role in the film alongside the popular Indian actor and singer.
The trailer of the upcoming comedy, which was released recently, shows Ahmed in his comfort zone given the style of the film. Hamad Chaudhry is the executive producer.
The trailer opens with the Aashiq singer with his friends sharing several money-making ideas. Later he thinks of adopting the father and getting the money from the insurance policy. Sargan Mehta, who works at an old-age home, is part of Dosanjh’s project by sharing health information about her clients.
Ahmed has written an article on ‘Father’. Babe bhangre pounde ni. The trailer shows that Dosanjh and his friends try their best to keep their papa ji alive for the next ’25 days’ even though ‘he fell ill as soon as he arrived’ to be with him. But things don’t seem to be going as planned as Ahmed notices a drastic improvement in his health, much to the dismay of Dosanjh and his friends.
Earlier, Dosanjh announced on Twitter that the film will release on October 5.
“Babe bhangre pounde ni Releasing this Dussehra, October 5. Official poster coming,” he wrote alongside the poster. Earlier, the film was scheduled to release on September 30, but now it has been pushed forward by a week.
