KARACHI: The Pakistan cricket team on Thursday became the first team in the history of Twenty20 Internationals to successfully chase down the target of 200 or more without losing a wicket.

Opener Babar Azam scored a century and Rizwan scored an unbeaten 88 in the second T20 against England to help Pakistan reach the 200-run target without losing a wicket.

This is the most successful run chase by any team without losing a wicket in a T20I.

Interestingly, Pakistan also held the previous record for the most successful chase in a T20I when New Zealand chased down 169 runs without the loss of a wicket in Hamilton in 2016.

It is also worth noting that Pakistan is the only team to have chased down a target of 150 or more on two occasions without losing a wicket.

Last year, in the T20 World Cup match in Dubai, Pakistan team chased the target of 152 runs against India.
