Actress Trina McGee has explained why she wasn’t in it. Series “Boy Meets World” finale.

McGee, who played Angela Moore, Topanga’s best friend in college, on ABC’s final three seasons sitcom, In a recent conversation he recalled his experience with the series finale. The podcast “Pod Meets World.”

“I was told in a very awkward way by a very important person that you guys were all gone. [showrunner] Michael Jacobs, and you said, ‘We don’t want him in the last episode. She is somehow taking our light.’ That was the gist of it,” McGee said.

She continued: “I was told what the show was before the last episode, which was called ‘Angela’s Ashes’ after I shot it, when I left. When Michael announced that we were on Angela Going to do another show, I was so happy that this show was going to happen before the last one, I didn’t realize it.

Will Friedel, who played Eric Matthews on the ABC sitcom, denied that the cast asked McGee to be removed from the finale.

McGee replied, “I believe you. I can tell by your reaction. It’s been on my mind for so long, and I’ve never seen that show. I’ve always felt like, uh… that It hurt me for a long time.
