Thousands react as royal family releases Queen’s new photograph ahead of funeral

The royal family has released a new photo of Queen Elizabeth ahead of her official burial.

According to the statement, the photo was taken to mark the Queen’s platinum jubilee, the first British monarch to reach the milestone.

“Tomorrow, millions will gather to commemorate his glorious life,” the statement said.

Within minutes of the photo being shared on social media, thousands of people reacted to it.

Queen Elizabeth II died earlier this week at the age of 96. His son Charles became King of England shortly after his death.
