Asif Ali, the outstanding batsman of the Pakistan cricket team, has said that his aim is to improve his match-finishing skills during the upcoming seven-match T20 home series. Englandstarting tomorrow (September 20).
In an exclusive interview with Geo NewsAsif said that his aim during the white-ball series against the visiting team is to enable himself to do what he could not do during the recently concluded Asia Cup 2022.

He said he is focused on his goal and the team wants to do what they want him to do.
When asked what his aim would be during the series, the 30-year-old cricketer hinted that he is working to further improve his match-finishing skills.
“Since I was not able to finish properly during the Asia Cup, I am trying to overcome this shortcoming and improve my finishing. I’m working hard and talking to the coaches. [on how] To work on it,” he mentioned.
Asif said that he is trying to simulate the match situation and comes late to the nets, allowing his body to cool down a lot after the warm-up as it will be during the matches.

Asif, who has represented Pakistan in 21 ODIs and 45 T20Is, said his batting position is usually under pressure, but that’s what cricket is all about.
“I usually come in to bat in situations where you need an average of 12 to 14 runs per over. Sometimes, I bat in the last over of the game. However, I always try my last over. Try to learn from games and focus on ways to improve things for future games,” he said.
Asif said that his aim is to prepare well for the future. T20 World Cup Because the conditions there can be helpful for batting.
