Nobel Peace Prize Winner Malala Yousuf Zai shared a photo of herself with Somaya Farooqi, an Afghan student and engineer, on Monday, in which she can be seen rehearsing a speech for her speech at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Taking to the photo-sharing app, Instagram, Malala wrote, “The cutest practice session before the #UNGeneralAssembly today.”

The post further read that Somaya has been introduced that she will also speak in front of world leaders. MalalaVanessa Niktay, and Ukrainian student Yelizaveta Posivnych, and “highlight the barriers that prevent girls from learning”.

“The most important thing for Somaya is that the leaders in the room, who have influence, do not make Afghan girls victims of global politics,” the caption added.

Malala She will address the Leaders’ Day of the Transforming Education Summit at the United Nations, where she will join other education activists on relevant issues facing youth and school-age children around the world.

According to the United Nations, the summit was called “in response to the global crisis in education – one of equity and inclusion, quality and relevance”.
