It came after David queued for 13 hours to pay his respects to the Queen as she lay in state at Westminster Hall. which has earned him widespread acclaim..
The 48-year-old shared a series of snaps of the queen in various outfits, as well as her corgis and horses, to her 30 million Instagram followers.
He wrote: “I have spent the past week thinking about the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and how she was a powerful source of inspiration not only to me but to many people around the world.
“In every way the ultimate icon and epitome of beauty, she will live on in our hearts and minds forever.
“I offer my deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family at this time, and we join them in mourning the loss of our beloved Sovereign,” she signed off the post with her initials “VB”. added.
Both Victoria and David Beckham have received honors from the royal family.
Victoria was made an OBE in the 2017 New Year’s Honors for her services to the fashion industry.
He received the honor from the new Prince of Wales during a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
Meanwhile, David was made an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honors List in 2003 for his services to football and has met her on several occasions.
As the public queued to catch a glimpse of the Queen on Friday night, David recalled the day he received his OBE from Her Majesty and said it was his “most special moment”.
He told reporters: “I took my grandparents with me, who really raised me to be a huge royal and royal family fan, and obviously my wife was there.
“To step up, to get my respect but also ma’am, to ask questions, to talk, I was very lucky to have had a few moments like that in my life.”
