Sixth edition of World Corporate Golf Challenge Pakistan ends

LAHORE: The sixth edition of Hashu Group World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC) Pakistan concluded at Royal Palm Golf and Country Club, Lahore.

The national finals of the sporting event culminated with the top five teams from each region competing to win the title of champion for WCGC Pakistan.

After a close and tough competition, DCC Developers bagged the first position with their players Shahnawaz Durrani and Saqib Rehman, while United Engravers with Abdul Islam and Shahzad Azam finished as runners-up.

The sporting event — with three regional qualifiers followed by a grand national final that concluded on September 18 — was organized by Loco Services, in association with the World Corporate Golf Challenge (based in Spain). is a country partner.

After the championship, there was an awards ceremony during which golf’s Amin Taqi Butt and Matlub Ahmed and cricket’s Shafqat Rana were given the Loco Services Legend Awards.
