In a statement sent to CNN by her lawyers on Tuesday, Annapolis accused Kyrgios of making the accusations, which she called “reckless and completely unfounded,” and which she says that he and his family suffered “considerable loss and distress”.

“However, if he is not willing to do so, I am determined to seek confirmation in the High Court.”
Kyrgios, who was eventually defeated by Novak Djokovic in the match that day, became angry during the match when he said there was noise from the crowd.

CNN Sport has reached out to Kyrgios’ legal team for comment but has not yet received a response.
The 27-year-old is scheduled to play this year’s US Open, which will be played between August 29 and September 11.
