Queen Elizabeth II’s great-grandchildren make first appearance for vigil

It is the first time any of Queen Elizabeth II’s grandchildren have been seen since the Queen’s death on September 8. There has been much speculation about whether any of the Queen’s 12 grandchildren will attend her funeral on Monday, as they are still young.

The last time the royals were seen together in public was during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June, and they drew a lot of attention to their shenanigans.

Although it is not clear what part the 12 grandchildren will play in the funeral, the Queen’s grandchildren will attend a vigil at her casket on Saturday. A royal source said the Prince of Wales will stand at the head of the Queen’s coffin, while the Duke of Sussex will stand at the foot.
